For me, my love of birth, babies, and everything in between started in 2012 on the border of Texas and Mexico at Holy Family Services, a free standing birthing center that provides low cost midwifery care to women from all backgrounds. As a Registered Nurse and volunteer, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from experienced nurses and midwives as we provided comprehensive prenatal care, labor support, and postpartum care to our clients. At Holy Family, I learned the art of supporting natural, unmedicated, childbirth, and was forever changed.

Today, I am honored to provide pregnancy and birth support services to families in the East Bay as an educator and doula. My approach to pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding is one of simplicity, patience, and love. While our society is enthralled with the latest technology, tools, and products, I focus on working with you and your partner(s) using my touch, voice, and presence to provide the type of doula care that women have been using since the dawn of time. In addition to birth doula work, I regularly teach childbirth preparation and breastfeeding classes at Then Comes Baby in Oakland and Birthways in Berkeley, and I facilitate a weekly postpartum group at Pacifica Family Maternity Center in Berkeley.

I am a Certified Birth Doula (CD(DONA)), Certified Childbirth Educator (ICEA) Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC).
